Forgivness and Love

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgive one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
Ephesians 4:32
Yesterday the children were sent to their rooms for disobeying my strict warnings NOT to dump a rather large jar of bubbles on themselves. While I was still red in the face mad and cleaning soap up off the porch  Abbey came out and handed me a note. Then quickly returned to her room.
It reads: I am sorry Mom for disobeying you. I hope you forgive me.
Okay so in that moment my heart melted and my anger was lifted. I thought to myself...
Of course my dear, sweet child I will forgive you a millions times over. I love you!
No matter how mad their actions make me I will always forgive my children and love them with all that I have.
It also reminded me that no matter how many times I go my own way and ignore God's will all I have to do is pray...I'm sorry God for disobeying you. Please forgive me....and with open arms He will!
It's as simple as that....not always easy.... but simple.

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter and may your day be filled with LOVE!
God Bless!

The Junk Yard Kid & His Coon Hat

This is our new family member Battery. He enjoys watching tv and playing the bongo drums.

Yesterday Abraham and I had a Mama/Son day.  I called it a date but he rolled his eyes and informed me you can't date your mom. Either way we had an adventurous day roaming a junk yard. Followed by a  visit to Mr. Ed's Elephant Emporium (where the candy and fudge are at!)...not sure how the two relate but they had coon hats! That's really all that mattered to one seven year old boy. We had ice cream after lunch...built a robot....watched some Phineas & Ferb (Mama took a nap).
The best part was just hanging out, laughing, talking and really listening to my son!
God has blessed me with such a wonderful boy and I thank Him everyday for that gift!
Hope you all have a beautiful day!
Happy Sunday!
God Bless!
