It's Shoebox Time!

Every year week put together shoebox gifts for Operation Christmas Child. The kids get so excited filling and stuffing the boxes. They write notes to the child and pray for them. It's been a great way for us to help teach the kids to look beyond themselves....a reminder we could all use.
If you are interested in joining the fun you can find more information at Samaritan's Purse.

Thought I add just a little taste of what our late OCTOBER Saturday is like...
 These were taken at 7:30am

By 9:30am it looked like this and it's still snowing!
I'm loving being cocooned in my home, spending a day with my awesome family...pumpkin carving, cookie baking and some slushy, snowy fun!
Have a blessed and beautiful day!
God is good!

Fall Soccer

Today was Abraham's last soccer game of the fall season. I'm so proud of how well he and his teammates did this year. They won all but one game (not that I'm keeping track or anything).

It's also nice to watch a GAME being played instead of all the kids chasing the ball from one end to the other. If you've ever seen 4 year olds play you know what I'm talking about. was a good season but I'm glad to have our Saturdays back=).

Frank and I are always appreciative of the people who volunteer to coach are kids. So, I put together this simple little thank you card.
Supplies used: Cardstock, buttons & thank you stamp- Papertrey, Soccer ball stamp-Stampabilities, twine-Martha Stewart.

Thank you for stopping by! Hope you all enjoy your weekend!
God Bless!

Happy Birthday Boo!

It hard to believe that my little boy turns 8 today!...
Okay...maybe not so hard to believe. He definitely puts the "ham" in Abraham.
He wanted a platyborg cake this year.
Kick It Up a Notch - Platyborg.jpg
There was just no way with my limited cake decorating skills that I could do that. However, thanks to Disney and all there lovely products for all their shows and movies I was able to find a Phineas and Ferb 2nd dimension set.
One last thing... I put together a video of images of Abraham from about 1 month to 8 years. I used Sidewalk Prophets The Words I Would Say. He has listened to this song everyday before school...a few times over. So, now whenever I hear it I think of him.
Hope this is your best birthday yet! Happy Birthday Boo Bear! I love you!

Thank you all for stopping by and celebrating the day with us!
God Bless!
